Just a few minutes' drive will take us to the canyons that channel the water towards the San Pedro oasis. We'll have to wade through the water, in the shade of imposing cliffs, to continue following the river's course. The presence of ancestral cultures, clearly visible along the approaches to the village, reminds us that these areas were places of transition for peoples who came from the Andes.
